A guard tells a young girl going to the Metropolitan Museum with her grandmother that she can’t take her balloon with her. He offers to take care of it for her, but after the girl leaves the balloon escapes, resulting in the guard chasing the balloon all over New York City. The extremely detailed pictures of the guard chasing the balloon parallel the artwork the girl and her grandmother see in the museum. Although the book has no words, it entertains for hours.
